In the past, Taiwan faced energy challenges, relying heavily on imports and lacking energy self-sufficiency. However, with the promotion of renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and geothermal energy, the move towards energy independence has gained momentum. Resources like wind, solar, and geothermal energy are virtually inexhaustible. IWE aims to inspire the younger generation to participate in the creation and sustainability of the new energy industry through the concept of "Energy for All," fostering a more self-sufficient and sustainable energy future for Taiwan.

There is now a generation of green revolutions that require the collective participation of all citizens to make the green revolution a national mission. IWE is dedicated to nurturing young talents and fostering a new generation of Taiwanese renewable energy professionals.
