Climate change triggered worldwide awareness of global clean energy for the future. Globally, starting from the industrial supply chains, many of the world's major manufacturers have joined RE 100 to declare their determination to use green energy.

In light of the global trend, Taiwan also began to promote offshore wind power as renewable energy as early as 2013. From demonstration small-scale wind farms to commercial-scale wind farms and then to block development in recent years, they all demonstrate the Taiwan government's ambition of promoting offshore wind power. 

However, due to the impact of the international situation and the increase in global green power demand, the international wind energy supply chain is tighter. Taiwan's ambition is to not only develop offshore wind energy but also grow the wind energy supply chain locally. IWE will use their experience to extend their business into the APAC offshore wind market.
